AmiiNest ("the App") is developed and operated by TunaCake LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how information is handled when you use AmiiNest.
1.Information Stored on Your Device
AmiiNest does not require an account. The App stores the following on your device:
- Your collection, including Owned, Favorites, Wishlist, and favorite series.
- NFC data files you import or scan (stored with your collection), and the encryption key file you import (stored in the iOS Keychain).
- Your write-credit balance and records of delivered purchases (stored in the iOS Keychain).
- App preferences.
This information is processed on your device. TunaCake LLC does not operate servers that receive it, and the App does not upload your files or encryption key. Like other app data, it may be included in your iPhone's iCloud or computer backups, depending on your device settings.
2.Advertising and Data Collection
AmiiNest offers optional rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. When ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners may automatically process certain information, including:
- IP address and approximate location inferred from it.
- Device identifiers, where permitted.
- Advertisement impressions and interactions.
- App usage and performance information.
- Crash and diagnostic information.
This information may be used for advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, analytics, and service improvement. The data collected and how it is used may depend on your device settings, region, applicable law, and privacy choices. 3.Advertising Consent and Privacy Choices
Where required by applicable law, AmiiNest uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present advertising consent choices. When available, you can review or change these choices in the App under Settings → Legal → Ad Privacy Options.
AmiiNest does not ask for permission to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. Changing your preferences may affect advertising personalization but does not necessarily prevent all technical data processing required to deliver ads.
4.In-App Purchases
AmiiNest offers optional in-app purchases, including write-credit packages, Lifetime Unlimited writing, and an optional tip to support development (Buy Me a Coffee), which does not unlock any features. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store, and TunaCake LLC does not receive your credit card number or payment card security details.
The App processes purchase-related information, such as product identifiers, transaction records, and purchase entitlements, to provide purchased features and verify transactions. For details about Apple's handling of payment information, please see Apple's Privacy Policy.
5.NFC Files and Collection Information
NFC writing operations use compatible tags and data selected, imported, or scanned by you. Collection information and imported files remain under your control on your device. You are responsible for ensuring that any files and NFC data you use are legally obtained and that you have the necessary rights to use them.
6.Third-Party Content
AmiiNest downloads amiibo catalog information and images from AmiiboAPI (amiiboapi.org). It also downloads a small settings file from our own GitHub repository, which is used to show launch-offer pricing. When the App connects to these services, AmiiboAPI and GitHub may receive ordinary technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver the content. Their own privacy policies apply.
7.Contacting Support
If you contact us for assistance, we may receive your email address and any information you voluntarily include in your message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and provide support, and keep it only as long as reasonably necessary for support, recordkeeping, or applicable legal obligations.
8.Data Retention and Deletion
Information stored by AmiiNest remains on your device until you remove it in the App or delete the App. When you delete the App, your collection, imported files, and app preferences are removed, although they may still exist in earlier device backups.
Your write-credit balance and records of delivered purchases are stored in the iOS Keychain and may remain on your device after the App is deleted, so your credits are not lost if you reinstall. An encryption key you imported is removed the next time the App is installed and opened.
Purchase records and information processed by Apple or Google are subject to their respective retention practices.
9.Your Privacy Rights
Other than support correspondence described in Section 7, we do not collect or store your personal information.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under local privacy laws, such as the right to access or delete your personal information. Information stored by AmiiNest stays on your device, and you can delete it by deleting the App. For information processed by Google or Apple, please use their privacy tools and policies.
10.Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by AmiiNest. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11.Children's Privacy
AmiiNest is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Advertising and other third-party data practices remain subject to applicable age-related privacy requirements.
12.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, applicable laws, or third-party services. The latest version will be available on our website with an updated revision date.
